I'm Sheila Glebe and I am running to represent St. Albert students, families and educators on the St. Albert Public School Board.

I am a retired school teacher, administrator, parent and grandparent of students attending three schools within St. Albert Public Schools. With passion, professional experience and a vested interest in the schools of St. Albert Public School District, I believe that a strong organization is one that doesn’t just hear the concerns of stakeholders, it listens and brings people together for the benefit of all concerned.  I would be honoured to have the opportunity to add my voice and experience to St. Albert Public Schools.

As a St. Albert School Trustee, I am committed to:

• Supporting and respecting the critical work done by our educators, parents and students in achieving excellence in education.

• Listening and responding to the questions and concerns of every educational stakeholder.

• Working with the local community and the provincial government to ensure that St. Albert Public Schools have the resources needed to meet the needs and goals of every single student. 

• Advocating on behalf of educators, parents and students to ensure a safe, welcoming and nurturing environment in every school.
